The Significance of Dragons

On the south side of The 705, there are two beautiful dragons. Why? We are here to tell you!

Alison Chambers, the owner of The 705, asked artist James Stanford to maintain a dragon theme in honor of her Chinese American heritage and also because there is an AWESOME (like, really awesome) Laos market next door who will see the dragons every day.

As the building is located near the entrance of The Cultural Corridor on Las Vegas Boulevard, the dragons are bold, striking and incredibly eye-catching to passersby.

The dragon is a symbol of power, strength and good luck in East Asian culture. 🐉 It is the hope of Alison Chambers and The 705 to bestow such well wishes to all.
